Deconstruction of amazon office spaces in Kleusberg containers at the airport of Leipzig

As part of an innovative deconstruction project, Amazon office spaces in Kleusberg containers at Leipzig Airport are being sustainably dismantled. This project is the first joint venture between peko rebuilding and Concular, which are committed to circular construction and the reuse of high-quality components.
The aim of the project is to preserve as many materials and components used as possible and reuse them. The components are carefully removed, inventoried and prepared for targeted reuse. Materials, such as (fire protection) doors, partition walls, sanitary installations and plasterboard are carefully dismantled and prepared for new uses.In line with a consistent circular economy, the dismantled components find new applications in other construction projects. For example, some of the materials are reused in our project U46 connect or H11 caché in Saarbrücken. Other materials are available for sale via the Concular online stores that they can be purchased and reused.

The project is characterized by its circular approach, which conserves resources, reduces construction waste and thus plays a pioneering role in sustainable construction.
The collaboration between peko rebuilding and Concular brings together the strengths of both companies: While we, with the peko rebuilding, contribute with our expertise in deconstruction resource-efficient dismantling, Concular takes on the marketing and integration of the components into the circular economy. The synergy of this partnership makes it possible to develop and implement innovative and resource-efficient solutions for the construction industry.
This project at Leipzig Airport is the beginning of a forward-looking cooperation that shows how dismantling and reuse can go hand in hand to make the construction industry more sustainable and resource-efficient.
