Our journey towards a sustainable future
Collaboration with circular experts & innovative minds
We have not embarked on the journey towards a circular economy in which sustainable construction is a matter of course with perfect knowledge. By building partnerships, developing a network and constantly exchanging ideas with experts and companies that also want change and are tackling the transformation, we continue to develop on a daily basis, improve our internal sustainability practices and can continue to drive sustainable construction forward externally.
Internal sustainability concept
Our common goal requires a rethink of both short-term and long-term goals. We can only achieve change if sustainability is considered and practiced in all areas. To achieve this, we have drawn up a concept within our sustainability team that sets out and addresses short-term internal and long-term internal and external packages of measures.
Certifications
On the one hand, certifications are a way of communicating our contribution to the outside world. On the other hand, it helps us as a guide to meet all the organizational challenges associated with sustainable building and planning.
We are striving to achieve Green Office certification for sustainable entrepreneurship.
In order to take a holistic approach to sustainable construction, members of our team are undergoing further training to become DGNB auditors. This enables us to assess existing and new buildings based on sustainability criteria.
3pe & peko rebuilding GmbH
Sustainability is a high priority in all our companies. Nevertheless, we have explicitly founded two companies in recent years that have been committed to sustainability from the outset. With 3pe, we ensure that sustainability begins at the planning stage. We plan using existing materials and reusing building materials from other projects. In addition, in new projects, emphasis is placed on retaining the premises as much as possible and aiming to minimize the need for conversion. The purchase and sale of reused materials and products is carried out by peko rebuilding. The most sustainable option is always selected.
